Our socialization events are designed for dogs of multiple socialization levels. Every event is structured so dogs can be involved and participate without having to interact with each other if they do not want to. All events are on leash unless owners decide to head to the play yards to interact on their own afterward. Whether your dog is social and outgoing or needs space and distance, there is a place for them here.

Guided pack walks in local parks

Wag & Walk

Wag & Walk is our guided pack walk series in local parks across Clay County. Each walk takes place in a different location on a rotating schedule, so your dog gets to experience new environments, new smells, and new friends. These walks are about an hour long and are a wonderful way to socialize your dog in a structured, on-leash setting. They are also great for folks with limited mobility — the pace is easy, the terrain is gentle, and the focus is on enjoyment, not exertion.

Guided hikes on leash on varying terrain

Paws & Explore

Paws & Explore is our guided hike series for dogs and their families who want to venture a little further. Each hike takes place on a rotating schedule at different locations, with varying terrain that ranges from wooded trails to open paths. Hikes last about two hours on average, giving your dog plenty of time to sniff, explore, and take in the sights and sounds of nature. These hikes are on leash, and they are a fantastic way to build your dog’s confidence in new environments.

Annual Halloween party with costume contests & a glowing evening walk

Dog-o-ween Party & Glow Walk

Join us as we celebrate our 3rd Annual Dog-o-ween Party & Glow Walk! This is a fun event to socialize, walk, and have some Halloween fun with the best people — dog people! Dress up your dog for the costume contests, hit the trick-or-treat stations set up around the property for both kids and dogs, join the pup cup challenge and the whipped cream eating contest, and so much more. Once the sun goes down, break out the glow sticks and walk the luminary path. It is a celebration you and your dog will not want to miss.

What to Expect

Every dog is welcome, at their own pace.

All socialization levels

Our events are built for dogs of every comfort level. Your dog can participate fully without having to interact with other dogs if they do not want to. The group setting provides exposure and structure without pressure.

Always on leash

All events are on leash for everyone's safety and comfort. If you and your dog want to socialize off-leash after an event, you are welcome to head to our play yards on your own.

Check each time

Locations rotate for every event, so each outing is in a different place. Always check the schedule before heading out so you know where to meet us.
