We know that leaving your dog at a boarding facility can be stressful — for you and your dog. At Homemade Hounds Bed & Biscuit, we use a variety of behavior-focused techniques to help your dog have fun, be themselves, and enjoy their time with us.
Does your dog enjoy playing with a ball? How about walking our acres and “sniff-sploring”? Does your dog want to be social with other dogs, or just hang out with humans? Swim in the pond? Whatever they enjoy, we have them covered.
We accept all breeds with no breed exclusion. If your dog is not social with other dogs, that is okay — we are happy to accommodate dogs that prefer human company over canine companionship.
Short & long term boarding
Whether you need a single night or an extended stay, we offer flexible boarding options starting at $45/night.
Medical or behavioral boarding
Dogs with medical needs or behavioral considerations receive attentive, experienced care from our staff. We have seen it all, and we welcome dogs who need a little extra patience.
Add a spa bath before checkout
If your dog REALLY loves to play, consider adding a spa bath before they check out so they go home fresh and clean.
Vaccinations required
All boarding dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and Leptospirosis (for dogs over 35 lbs). Vaccinations must remain current through the entire length of your dog’s stay — if any vaccine is due to expire during boarding, please have it updated before drop-off.
What to bring with you
Please bring your dog and their current food in a sealed bag or container. We cannot accept full bags of food with no seal — all food must be sealed to keep food smells down and maintain the freshness of your dog’s food. A resealable bag, Tupperware-style container, or any airtight option works great.
